Free Sites to create Cartoon Characters of yourself
Have you wondered how do people make those cute cartoon faces of themselves and post it on sites like Facebook Orkut or Gravatar ? Today we will look @ some sites that lets you create Caricature of yourself in a few simple steps. ( some of the site might require you to upload a photo / register before using the service ). Most of these are free service so why not give it a shot.
Site 1 : FaceYourManga.com
This has to be the best of the lot. I was impressed a lot by this site didn’t give the other much time after I saw this powerful mix n match feature to create an image of myself. Its highly customizable and has no learning curve to create an avatar. Has got Multiple language support.
Site 2 : SimpsonizeMe.com
Will convert you in to character from the simpsons universe. You will need to upload a photo of yourself to get started.
Site 3 : Yahoo! Avatars
Almost everyone should be knowing about Yahoo! Avatars, I think its a good addition to this post. Its another mix n match the features like eye, chin etc to get your custom avatar.
Site 4 : BeFunky.com
BeFunky.com has got Photo to pencil sketches and Photos to Uvatars. In any case u need to upload a photo and they might bring a new feature soon which is video to animated video that should be cool.
Site 5 : Buscar Messenger
It dosen’t have many feature but if u want to get a custom avatar quick this is your best bet.
Site 6 : South Park Studio
South Park version of SimpsonizeMe. If you are a South Park fan then you might like it others can skip this one.

Creating an animation of your could be a real fun and best part is you need not undergo any formal training, just upload and observe transformation from your own image or a friend to a cartoon, share it among friends, play a prank… what a fun, for the purpose I liked BeFunky and Simpsonizeme (create simpson like character from your photo) very much. Thanks so much! I ran across an option to avatar/cartoonize yourself on another website, and ever since I’ve been trudging through so many fake or troublesome websites…Until I found this one. I finally go to make myself over in the best way.
