Most of the blogs out there will have the 125×125 button ads and since Adsense does not have an image ad option for this format its a bit hard to make the best use of this advertising spot. I have Adsense on one of my other site ( 1800PocketPC.com ) and when i wanted to get more revenue from the site I found out that 125×125 ads worked out to be the best option, advertisers love the format. It might be a bit hard to find advertisers who will be interested in this format. Today we look @ some of the best plases to buy or sell 125×125 ads for your site.

1) Digital Point Forums – Buy, Sell or Trade Section
In the high traffic webmasters forum you can find a lot of potential buyers and sellers. Since this is a free to register aand post site, it attracts a large amount of junk and scams but once in a while you can find some good quality publishers in there. I would recommend it if you are looking to buy ads, if you wanna sell them I would recommend some of the other alternatives mentioned in this post. Keep an eye out on the buyers iTrader, its an indicator of how many successful transactions the member has done via digital point.

2) SitePoint Marketplace
This is another huge Webmasters site, when compared to digital point , SitePoint is a better coz its pay per post in the marketplace which seems to weed out a lot of junk. Check the Advertising Space for Sale you will find some really good deals there, again this is a good option to buy ads at a really good price. Selling ads is a diffrent story though. If your site’s niche is wordpress, design, SEO etc then you might have some luck in finding buyers.

3) Technorati Engage
Technorati Engage is a part of the famous technorati.com site. It offers a lot of features like Buy Ad Per Day / Week / Month or get ads based on CPC. You can choose a wide array of format including 125×125 ads. They support payment through various format like Paypal, Cheques, Wire Transfer and Technorati Media Account Credit.

4) Performancingads.com ( Affiliate Link )
With this site you can get approved quite easily and they do have 125×125 ads in there. One drawback here is that their search filters are kind of outdated. You can still go by the category and find some good ads to buy / sell.

5) CMFads
CMF Ads is a forum like advertising site and it claims that 100% credits will be given back to the publishers. I have not used it myself , just came across it via google.

6) Project Wonderful
The Dashboard for this site is not the best looking one you can find but many publisher has opted to go for Project Wonderful, which means there should be something that works well for them.

7) BuySellAds
According to me they are the crème de la crème of the 125×125 buy/sell sites. Its got a fantastic dashboard and publishers get 75% payout. If you look @ it all major blogs have gone with them. The best niche to find advertisers on BSA would be wordpress, design, webmaster, or SEO. The other side is you will need a min of 100,000 impression to get a seller account. Payment can be received through Paypal and cheque.
